Driving lessons at 21!

12:43 AM

When you are old enough to say, 'I do' or to run a family and you still haven't got your driving license, that can be really embarrassing  Well, it is for me. I registered months ago for a driving license, and due to the pressures of my 4th Semester, I missed some lessons and here I am waiting for my instructor to have some free time, so that we can continue from where we left.

I did try to drive our Proton Wira that has been  abandoned in front of my house for a such a long time and we need to fix the battery for the car to actually move. With my Mom's guidance (she gave me 'heart attacks' every now and then-shouting at me whenever I got too near to any car or when I did a wrong turn) and my father and brother being the spectators, I actually managed to learn driving pretty fast. (It's not my first time though, I can't really take much credits.)

And then it was my brother's turn. We had really a nice time together this evening. Imagine your whole family trying to teach you driving and while everyone speaks at the same time and you get confused as you don't know who to listen and obey to. Haha. I had fun, most importantly I felt like I'm a child again, learning from my parents. Nice day, hope to get more family times like these.

Blame my 50mm for the close-up shots but I actually like these shots because intimacy and closeness can be felt through such close-ups.

How do you guys spend time with your family? You might be busy with hectic working schedules or classes to attend everyday, or you might be pursuing a dream, a goal or something you badly want to achieve in life. But never forget the one you love and the ones who love you, your family in particular. A dream is not worth achieving if you don't have anyone to share your happiness when finally your dream comes true.

I might sound as if I give my family the attention they need, but in truth I don't. Once I cared too much about me and my life that I forgot about them. I might be still selfish in my own ways, but I'm trying. I'm trying to be more sensitive towards the needs of my family and all they need is some time and lots of love. Do consider. Have a great weekend! =)
